Most honest opinion: Journal Writing
WRITING A JOURNAL IS BORING…
…but still I started writing as a part of my new year’s resolution. It’s been around 24 days and I can see evolution in my discipline and consistency. Writing a journal every morning helps me to prioritize things and let me focus on things I really want. It lets me to self-check my growth so far and further analysis helps me to correct myself where ever required. It hardly take 5 minutes a day but this small step is already bringing out a significant change in me. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who is interested in focusing, self discipline, time management, and succeeding in life.
Just begin small, write down you deep thoughts, plans for the following day, set targets and the accomplishments of the previous day. Sounds a bit technical but this is what you can analyze and learn yourself about yourself. Set a time when you write, it can be early morning or late night. Final outcome is not just to write but to be consistent and know yourself better.
Believe me, it works. Leaving you with words by Plato — ‘we need to start thinking to live and die peacefully.’
